In this assignment, we took a picture somewhere in the school and were told to put something abnormal in the space. I decided to put a carnival inside the gym! This assignment was very difficult for me because the ferris wheel I placed in the image was very hard to remove the background. Overall, this was a great learning experience with photoshop and creating a unique picture.

This week I decided to shoot still life and it was really interesting. I learned a lot about what kind of lighting you need to use to highlight the subject and how the angles affect the overall product. I gathered a lot of different things from my house and put them with all kinds of lighting. I love how you can make a single object look exciting through one single picture. In this assignment, we learned how to use different features in photoshop and we performed these tasks to retouch a car. This was a really interesting process for me because I learned how to use photoshop in different ways not only on the car, but how to use these things with other pictures too. This week I shot nature and was really interesting to see what lighting worked and how the settings on the camera needed to be adjusted. I went outside two different times, one time at night (sunset) and one time in the morning when it was really foggy. I really enjoyed this shoot because I could experiment with the reflections off the pond, different trees, etc.In this assignment, we learned how to use photoshop and created a pop art image. We took a regular picture and edited it with different colors and contrast. This process was really interesting how we could use the same image over and over again, but edit it so it looks different. Also, I accidentally replaced my original image with the final pop art, so I do not have the original anymore. I learned a lot with this assignment, like how to use photo shop and how to make a single image look different with changing the colors. I think the final product looks really cool and I'm excited to use photo shop for more assignments.
I decided to shoot food because I had a lot of opportunities to experiment with it and figure out what worked. I learned a lot of things while shooting this assignment, including where the camera needed to be so the picture wasn't blurry and what angle the picture needed to be at to make the photo look the most appetizing. Also, I shot some pictures with the flash and some without the flash and although the flash made the picture more clear, there was a shadow of the camera reflecting off of the subject. Overall, I really enjoyed capturing food because there are so many ways or angles you can display the subject as. Assignment Description:For this assignment, we had to capture eleven pictures with a different compostion technique for each of them. We learned about Rule of Thirds, Pattern, Depth of Field, Lines, Symmetry, Texture, Color, Framing, Balance, Space, and Perspective. We went out and explored to find these eleven different compositions to represent them in the photos we took. What I Learned:I learned so many things with this assignment, like how to import photos onto the computer, using the camera, and what the different compositions are. But the main thing I learned with this assignment is how many different ways you can take a single photograph. I noticed that when you change the way you look at a moment, it can change the outcome of the picture you take.
